Di Benedetto Racing is a Canadian motorsports racing team based in Vaughan, ON Canada.
For the 2025 season, DBR will be competing in the IMSA VP Sportscar Challenge.

Justin Di Benedetto - Driver
Justin Di Benedetto, is a 27 year old Canadian who competes in the FEL Sports Car Championship Canada Series presented by Michellin. Justin is a graduate of York University with a Major in Business and works in the capital markets industry in Toronto. Justin’s passion in motorsports has progressed over the years from karting to cars. He has competed throughout North America and together with his father Tony they have formed Di Benedetto Racing Inc.
Tony Di Benedetto – Team principal
Tony Di Benedetto is a successful Canadian businessman with a passion for motorsports. Tony has built, operated and divested a number of companies. He has been successful in forming strategic partnerships, raising capital and bringing several of his companies to the public markets (TSX and Nasdaq) both in Canada and the USA. His passion for motorsports and business acumen assists DBR in structuring its race team business operations and developing strategic partnerships.
MATT HARDIMAN - CREW CHIEF
Matt Hardiman is DBR’s Crew Chief and partner at Bestline Auto Tech. Matt brings years of experience racing in both Canada and the USA to DBR team. Matt along with the crew at Bestline is one of the winningest race engineering groups in Canada in the Porsche GT3 Cup Canada and the Audi TCR platform and actively compete in the IMSA Michelin Pilot series south of the border.
GEORGES BOURQUE - TECHNICAL ENGINNER - CAR SETUP
George Bourque is DBR’s Lead Mechanic and is focused on car setup. Georges is a partner at Bestline Auto Tech, which is one of the winningest race engineering groups in Canada in the Porsche GT3 Cup Canada and the Audi TCR platform and actively compete in the IMSA Michelin Pilot series south of the border.
CRAIG WILLIS - RACE ENGINEER #4 CAR
Craig is an accomplished race engineer and a former F1600 racer. Craig has been involved in both open wheel and sports car programs and has been lead engineer for numerous talents in Canada. Craig is proficient in data analysis with a goal to achieve the best performance from the race car and driver. He works alongside the mechanics and driver to achieve a race winning package.
VITO SCAVONE - OPERATIONS
Vito a verteran with an incredible history in motorsports around the globe assists in running the DBR trackside operations. Vito is the founder and talisman of Bestline, which opened in the late 2000s while Scavone also was operating other auto-related businesses. But his roots in Porsche racing were planted in 1970 in Switzerland, where he had moved with his parents from their native Italy. Scavone started his driving career in a Porsche 911, in hill climb competition. He also did some circuit racing in France before moving to Canada in the mid-1970s. Scavone continued in regional sports car competition in Canada in a Porsche 944 Turbo before driving in IMSA competition in the early 1990s in a Tiga TG287 powered by a Ferrari engine.
BRIANNA DI BENEDETTO - LOGISTICS / TIRE MANAGEMENT
Brianna splits her time managing the race organization of the team at the track and her law studies at Carleton University. She is responsible for ensuring all race logistics such as tire management, media, and general track essentials run smoothly on and off the grid. Most recently, Brianna has been active with several teams which compete in the IMSA Weathertech Championship as well as the Michelin Pilot Challenge series.
CHRISTOPHER “BOB” DI BENEDETTO - OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Christopher plays an active role in helping with general operations support on and off the track. Christopher is an avid motorsports enthusiast and is honing his skills in general race team operations from tire management, data, logistics and race car preparation.
DANIEL BOIS - DRIVER COACH / SPOTTER
Daniel is a professional driver coach and a very sucessfull driver. Daniel has competed in various racing series in North America, including the Canadian NASCAR series for several years.
