Di Benedetto Racing Commits to a Full Season in Sports Car Championship Canada

“I am beyond thrilled to be making my sportscar debut in SCCC this season,” said Justin. “It will be a huge step from the Sentra Cup, although my two last seasons in this series helped me develop as a driver.”
For the team, getting Audi’s TCR challenger was an obvious choice, “Audi’s customer service is beyond compared, and their car is proven, so it was an easy decision for us.”
However, Di Benedetto Racing won’t take delivery of their new Audi RS3 LMS Gen 2 until this summer because of a delay at the factory. In the meantime, the team elected to purchase an Audi RS3 LMS Gen 1 to ensure they would not miss a race.

Of course, we also hope to translate our effort and challenge for wins this season.”
“I am especially excited to compete in the Streets of Toronto,” stated Di Benedetto. “The Honda Indy Toronto is my home race, so I will be looking to climb on the podium!”

I wish to thank BestLine Auto Tech, Wrap Werks, Ad Impact, Audi Sport Customer Racing for their support. Our ultimate goal would be to gradually step into the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge next season, which is probably the most competitive series in North America at the moment and compete in select races. This is why we need the best people surrounding us,” concluded Justin.
Di Benedetto Racing is pleased to confirm that Keith Willis will be back with the team as an engineer and driver coach for the upcoming season. Willis has gained extensive experience in Formula racing, before switching to sportscar and Endurance in 2014, where he won two championships.

A strong relationship with Di Benedetto Racing positions Gamelancer to be ahead of the curve when it comes to new trends and innovations in the space, especially when it comes to their new Audi RS3 LMS Gen 2 that will feature state-of-the-art technologies.”
