P1 Finish at Lucky Dog Endurance Weekend at CTMP

Bownmanville (ON), October 31, 2021 – Di Benedetto Racing participated in the Lucky Dog Canada Endurance series this weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park with the Apex V2R Scion FRS endurance car. Justin and his co-pilots Gavin Sanders, Marc Andre Seguin and Mac Korince entered into the two day endurance event. The team was able to take the top spot of the podium on Saturdays 7 hour race.

The event hosted over twenty cars from Ontario and Quebec.

On Saturday the team fought up the ladder of cars to secure P1 during the latter part of the race, setting fast laps in wet conditons and eventually taking home the victory.

Sunday, the team started the race on pole position and quickly after the first few laps the FRS began having power loss issues. Struggling to keep pace on the fast CTMP circuit, the team opted to pit the car and perform some mechanical work to try and remedy the issues. The performance of the FRS improved, but the lost laps from the unscheduled pit stop eventually took us out of contention. We managed to bring home the car after eight hours of running in forth position.
